Important: please arrange an interview before booking any lessons. The interview is free, then if you wish to continue it will be followed by a free ‘setting-up’ session which will include a trial lesson.

Formal lessons are to be booked as a series, which is a minimum of 5 lessons (however, see 'Update , October 2022', below).

Prices are valid from November 2021 until further notice. I am not planning to increase my fees in the near future. However, I may have to revise them in 2024, in which case I will give fair notice.

Update, October 2022

There's no denying that these are challenging times. But if music is your passion, and you really want to learn to play the piano, I'll do my best to help you to find a way to do that. If you're not quite ready to think about taking regular lessons, or you're struggling financially, contact me and I'll be happy to discuss some more informal, flexible options.

Piano or keyboard (per lesson):

20 minutes, £10

30 minutes, £15

45 minutes, £22.50

If you’re not sure how long a lesson you will want, don’t worry, it’s something we can talk about in the interview.

Music Theory:

£7.50 per module (minimum 5).

Theory modules can be purchased separately or as add-ons for piano or keyboard lessons. Each module consists of 15 minutes of Skype time, including discussion of any exercises which you have previously sent to me to be marked. Theory modules can be used flexibly, on a ‘when you’re ready’ basis.
